Dining for Friends enables supporters of Triad Health Project to raise funds in support of our mission. We provide critically important services for people living with HIV and for those who may be at risk for contracting HIV. Since the inception of Dining for Friends in 1990, volunteer party hosts have raised over $4.7 million. 83% of each dollar raised goes to provide services directly to people impacted by HIV/AIDS--including case management, transportation to medical appointments, food and emergency assistance, therapeutic day programs, prevention, and community outreach. This year, we have to do things a little differently...
Instead of inviting friends over to your home, we invite you to order from a local restaurant and invite your friends to pickup the food you purchase to eat in the safety of their own homes. In turn, we'll provide some entertainment! on May 1, 2020 we'll stream a special Facebook Live with local musicians, talent and community members. Invite your guests to tune in and watch via a Facebook Watch party- we'll tell you how!
COVID-19 is impacting everyone in Guilford County, and our clients are no different!
We are doing our best to keep everyone safe- but gloves and masks can only go so far.
Working remotely is the smartest and safest thing we can do for our clients- we can still provide services, educate and connect our clients to care but...
We need to raise $20,000 in order to purchase the technology needed to serve all of our clients remotely!
Join us every Friday in April on Facebook Live from 12pm-1pm as we meet local musicians and enjoy their music, support local restaurants and hear from their owners and workers and talk to other community members. We'll chat and share support as we find new ways to share community!
